A Year After the Anniversary Firings, Microsoft Has Decided the Quiet Part Is Also the Contract

On 4 April 2025, Microsoft fired two engineers who interrupted its 50th anniversary event to protest the company's contracts with the Israeli military. Twelve months and one internal review later, the company has concluded — in writing — that it cannot find what The Guardian, +972, and Drop Site News already published. The question is not what Microsoft knows. It is who is being paid to keep saying it does not.
